Jahaji Ltd. represents a pioneering development in Bangladesh's inland water transport (IWT) sector, offering the country's first integrated e-logistics and data analytics services tailored specifically for this industry.

The platform enables suppliers to charter inland cargo vessels (bulkheads), while vessel owners, operators, importers, and carriers can monitor their vessels in real-time along Bangladeshi waterways and designated protocol routes.

Registration requires only a Bangladeshi phone number, facilitating immediate access to our services.

Our system encompasses three core functionalities: vessel tracking and monitoring, online vessel chartering, and a digital marketplace for informal procurement of goods from inland vessels. By identifying critical information needs within this sector, our solutions aim to assist multiple stakeholder groups in reducing costs, saving time, enhancing environmental sustainability and safety for personnel, and enabling data-driven decision-making for administrative and policy purposes.

Real-time vessel tracking allows users to view their vessels on an interactive live map, displaying parameters such as vessel speed, daily travel data, trip history, temperature, wind speed, and daily reporting summaries.

The inland cargo vessel (bulkhead) chartering feature allows users to directly engage with vessel owners to rent available vessels along Bangladesh’s Inland Water Way (IWW) routes.

The marketplace facilitates informal trade of bulk commodities—including coal, sand, stone, and chips—from active vessels. Users can view price estimates, vessel capacity, and current location details prior to booking or trading—providing transparency and better planning for charterers.

Our SOS feature is integrated via the Jahaji device installed on vessels. In the event of an emergency, pressing the SOS button transmits the vessel’s location and timestamp to relevant authorities (such as the River Police and Department of Shipping) as well as vessel owners via SMS, enabling prompt safety responses.

Additionally, a 24/7 helpline allows users to seek assistance directly through the app whenever needed.
